European Economic Area (EEA) Residents — GDPR Rights

  • Right to withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

  • Rights relating to automated decision-making: Where applicable, you may have rights concerning decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. In certain circumstances, this period may be extended as permitted by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, including the supervisory authority in the EEA country where you live, where you work, or where you believe an infringement of applicable data protection law occurred.

Exercising your right to complain to a supervisory authority does not prevent you from contacting us directly or exercising any other rights available to you under applicable law.

California Residents — CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to VelvetPout, you may have the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;

  • Know the categories of sources from which personal information is collected, the purposes for collecting, using, selling, or sharing it, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed;

  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions;

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, where applicable;

  • Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information, where the applicable right applies;

  • Use an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf, subject to applicable verification requirements; and

  • Exercise your CCPA rights without receiving discriminatory treatment prohibited by law.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain advertising or analytics activities may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA.

Where available, you may also use the “Your Privacy Choices” link on our website to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Where required by law, we recognize legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority to act on behalf of another consumer. We will process and respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law.
